Saba’s passion for the hospitality is palpable. He has hospitality experience of over 10 years, where he gained a wealth of knowledge.
He started his career in Saffron Rayleigh LTD. Since then, he has managed various restaurants and gastro pubs around Essex for The Restaurant Group Plc & The Marjoram Pubs.
Saba’s vision for The Plough is to ensure every visit is better than the last and that guests will leave excited to return.

Florin Hobjila

Florin began his culinary journey over 10 years ago as a kitchen porter in a hotel. With passion and dedication, he quickly rose through the ranks—first becoming a breakfast chef, then a line chef, and later a sous chef. After three years in that role, he proudly stepped into the position of Head Chef. His talent and hard work were recognised when he won the Best Pub Food and Drink award. Now leading the kitchen at his fourth pub, Florin continues to bring creativity, flavour, and excellence to every dish he serves.
